A Display terminal cum monitoring system to display the status of the individual breakers (ON/OFF) as well as to send customised SMS alerts to Engineers/attendants as to which breaker has tripped.

Presently the status of breaker whether operating or tripped is known only in the substation and the operation people have to contact the substation attendant or engineers to inform that a particular machine has stopped working and is offline. This sometimes results in delay in information transfer.

We have developed a Display terminal cum monitoring system to display the status of the individual breakers (ON/OFF) as well as to send customised SMS alerts to Engineers/attendants as to which breaker has tripped.The system is capable of monitoring the status of upto 15 breakers, and updates the status in real time to the remote display unit installed at a remote central location.

The system comprises of Remote display unit, Status sensing unit and Master Controller. The sensing units are installed at each circuit breaker and one master controller is required at each substation, the remote display unit can be installed at a control room where the information is available centrally.
